Add an infinite image slider to WordPress

A strip of pictures scrolling sideways forever, flat or along a curve, with soft faded edges. It pauses under the mouse, or stands still for visitors to swipe.

Type

A Grinner block

Find it

Press + and search “Image Slider”

Phones

Height and gaps shrink, the fades go at 600px

Speed

An auto-scrolling strip runs on styles alone

What you can change

The settings worth knowing.

The four settings that shape the strip.

Auto Scroll

Moving or still

Glide on its own in either direction, or use Manual Scroll for a still strip people swipe.

Hover Effect

Hover reactions

Zoom, Lift, Brighten, Grayscale or Reveal, each with its own strength.

Track Tilt (deg)

A tilted ribbon

Lean the strip up to 15 degrees, or tip it back in 3D with Tilt.

Image Slider curves, rows of pictures along an arc, a smile, a drum and a wave

Curve

A curved track

Arc, Smile, Drum or Wave, at a Gentle, Medium or Strong depth. Curves need Auto Scroll, and phones get a shallower one.

Good to know

Fair questions.

The Image Slider is a Grinner block that scrolls a strip of pictures sideways forever, with soft faded edges. It pauses under the mouse, or stands still for visitors to swipe. Use it for a relaxed showcase of work, products or places.

No. It’s made to glide, or to be swiped when set to Manual Scroll.

Always in a new tab.

Height and gaps shrink with the screen, and the frosted fades switch off at 600px and below.

The strip stands still, and a curved one shows as a still curve. Manual scrolling still works.

It’s the heaviest choice. Every picture becomes its own 3D layer and all of them load, so test it on an older phone and keep it off long phone pages.

Yes. A strip that scrolls by itself is a tab stop, and keyboard focus pauses it.

Pairs well with

Try it with these.

Images that take turns, in a row, a deck, a mosaic or a turning orbit.

A tint over a section’s background so the text on top stays readable.

Use Content Slider when each slide needs words or a button, not just a picture.
