A short story about a choice every WordPress builder knows, and why I stopped making it.

If you’ve built WordPress sites, you know the choice.
Block themes are fast, but limited to basic designs. Page builders make beautiful sites, but the speed nosedives. And anything worthwhile comes with another subscription.
I built Grinner because I was tired of choosing between a site that looks good and one that loads fast. And it’s free. No subscription, no Pro version.
Then I talked to our customers. I run WP Buzz, a WordPress hosting company, and most of our customers are web designers and agencies. I asked dozens of them what slows them down. The answers were the same. Decisions, design and speed. Getting the brand right takes hours. Colors, fonts, sizes, style.
So I built GrinBot. It creates beautiful, conversion-focused sites without giving up speed. It makes the design decisions with you and builds the first draft fast.

Grinner doesn’t replace the WordPress editor. It adds new settings to the blocks you already use, like Heading, Image, Group and Button, and a handful of new blocks with Grinner in their name.
Every effect brings its own small bit of code, and only to the pages that use it. A page pays for what it shows, and nothing more.
