Highlights, most underlines, the strike-through and the circle can draw in when the page loads or as the words scroll into view.

Help when you need it

Save as my accent

One look across the site

Turn styled words into a named site accent. Restyle it later and every page using it updates together.

How to add it

Three steps. No new tool.

1

Install Grinner free

It’s on WordPress.org. Or go to Plugins, Add New, and search for Grinner Blocks.

2

Select your words

Highlight a few words in a Heading or Paragraph, then choose Accent in the toolbar.

3

Style it and save it

Start from a preset such as Marker or Circle, adjust it, then use Save as my accent so other pages can reuse it.

Good to know

Fair questions.

Accent text is a Grinner upgrade to the Heading and Paragraph blocks. It gives a few chosen words a marker, a hand-drawn underline, a circle or another font. Use it to point the eye at the words that matter, and save the look once so every page can reuse it.

Their styles load only where an accent is used. An accent in a different font does load that font file, so stick to the fonts your site already has.

No. A circle, a strike-through or a tilted border keeps its words on one line, so keep those to two or three words.

The paint already drawn. Nothing draws in.

Yes. Give the accent a Fixed size, as a theme size, px or rem, and save it once as a site accent. It then looks the same in a heading and a paragraph.

Pairs well with

Try it with these.

One line whose words take turns, with the transition you pick.

Headings that type, decrypt, reveal or arrive word by word.

Gradient text, a gradient that flows, and words that color in as you scroll.
